These terms and conditions (“Terms & Conditions”) apply to this website (shortened as “Site” from now on) of the hotel brand owned and licensed by Garden Suite Hotel & Resort.
Please read the following Terms & Conditions carefully before obtaining or using any materials, products, services or information through the site. By accessing the site, you agree to accept all the terms and conditions.
AGREEMENT
You warrant that you are at least 18 years of age and possess the legal authority to enter into this agreement and to use this site in accordance with all terms and conditions herein. You agree to be financially responsible for all of your use of this site (as well as for use of your account by others, including without limitation minors living with you). You agree to supervise all usage by minors of this site under your name or account. You also warrant that all information supplied by you or members of your household in using this site is true and accurate and without limitation, or any false or fraudulent reservation. You agree that the reservations facilities of this site shall be used only to make legitimate reservations or purchases for you or for another person for whom you are legally authorized to act. You understand that overuse or abuse of the reservation facilities of this site may result in your being denied access to such facilities.
For any reservations or other services for which fees may be charged, you agree to abide by the terms or conditions of purchase imposed, including, but not limited to, payment of all amounts when due and compliance with all rules and restrictions regarding availability of rates, products, or services. You shall be completely responsible for all charges, fees, duties, taxes, and assessments arising out of the use of this site.
BOOKING & PAYMENT
A valid credit card is required for all reservations to secure your reservation. We shall have the right to require full payment in advance or a deposit at the time of booking. No booking shall be treated as confirmed until the payment details and/or deposit have been provided.
Once your booking has been successfully completed, a Booking Confirmation will be issued and sent to the email address provided in your payment details. You MUST present your Booking Confirmation(s) or QR code upon check-in at the Hotel’s Kiosks, together with your identification document (national registration identity card, passport, driver’s license or other identification card or document as the Hotel may require). If you do not receive your Booking Confirmation(s) within twenty-four (24) hours from the time of booking, please contact us.
Credit card bookings made within five (5) days prior to check-in date will require presentation of the credit card used for payment of the booking during check-in. Failure to do so may delay your check-in process.
The ‘Guest’ named in the Booking Confirmation must be the person staying at the Hotel otherwise we reserve the right to cancel the booking.
All outstanding charges must be paid for in full on check-out from the Hotel. If staying for multiple nights at the Hotel we may require you to make payment for any outstanding charges on a more frequent basis during your stay.
Please note that a deposit of $300 is required upon check-in. This deposit is refunded at check-out, provided there are no damage or outstanding charges incurred during your stay.
We accept the following credit cards: MasterCard, VISA, American Express, and Discover
ROOM RATES
Rates quoted are in US Dollar.
The rates quoted are based on per room per night. The prices displayed on the websites are an average per room per night.
The room tax is 15.5% per night by Los Angeles City.
CHECK-IN/CHECK-OUT REQUIREMENTS
In the interests of security and to prevent fraud, at the time of check-in, guests may be required to confirm their valid identity by providing their booking reference; their passport/government issued identity card/driving license and a valid credit or debit card which will be inserted in the presence of the card holder. These records will be kept for at least 12 months and may be disclosed or made available for inspection by any police officer or as otherwise required by applicable law in connection with the prevention or investigation of crime. The information above may be requested for each member of your party over the age of 18 and we reserve the right to refuse entry to persons who cannot provide the information set out above.
Unless otherwise stated on the booking confirmation, Guests may check-in at any time from 2:00 p.m. on the scheduled day of arrival.
On the day of departure we kindly ask all guests to vacate their rooms by 11:00 AM. Late check-out after this time can be requested subject to availability and will be charged at half of the room rate until 3:00 PM. Any extension beyond 3:00 PM will be charged the full room rate.
HOTEL EVENTS
Please be aware that at certain times throughout the year some of our hotels may host weddings, events and parties, which you may feel would be an intrusion on your break. Please contact the Hotel directly in advance of your stay for further information.
GUEST BEHAVIOR
Guests are requested to conduct themselves appropriately at all times, to comply with establishment’s rules and regulations, respect for the property of the Hotel, its employees and guests and their health and safety. We reserve the right to refuse accommodation or services or remove you and members of your party from the Hotel if, in our reasonable opinion, we consider this provision to have been breached. Where this is the case shall have no obligation to refund you for lost accommodation, other services or any other loss or expense incurred.
DAMAGE IN ROOM
Guests will be responsible for any damage caused to the hotel room or any furnishings, fittings, and equipment therein any act of omission of the guest, his/her invitees, and subcontractors of guest. Should this damage come to light after the guest had departed, Garden Suite Hotel reserves the right to make a charge to the Guest’s credit/debit card. (ex: water damage, bathtub overflow)
LOST AND FOUND
Garden Suite Hotel does not take responsibility for items lost on our property. Should any item be found in a room after guest check-out, will be immediately discarded.
SMOKING
Guests are not permitted to smoke inside the rooms or any enclosed areas inside the establishment. If evidence of smoking (cigarettes, vape, marijuana, e-cigarettes) in a room is found, a $400 penalty will be imposed. Smoking is allowed in open areas of the hotel.
CHILDREN
All children (a person under 18 years of age) staying at the Hotel must be accompanied by an adult and must be supervised by an adult at all times.
Extra beds are available in selected of our properties. However, these are limited and subject to availability. Additional charges may apply. Please check at the time of booking.
PETS
No pets are allowed at this property. The service pets are only allowed with valid certificate upon arrival. If pets are found without our recognition, a penalty fee will be charged.
COVID-19
In order to maintain greater public health, in-room services such as delivery of extra sheets/toiletries, food, delivery, and maintenance services will not be available to severely limited. No visitors are allowed until the hotel guides you. We ask for your understanding and cooperation in order to keep both staff and guests healthy and safe.
FORCE MAJEURE
Garden Suite Hotel accepts no liability and will not pay any compensation where the performance of its obligations is prevented or affected directly or indirectly by or as a result of force majeure or any circumstances beyond its reasonable control including, but not limited to, flood, earthquake, extreme adverse weather conditions, natural disasters, other acts of God, acts of terrorism, fire or failure of electric power, gas, water, or other utility service, plant machinery, computers, vehicles or any collapse of building structures.
RIGHT TO REFUSE ACCOMMODATION
Garden Suite Hotel reserves the right to refuse accommodation to you or any person(s) without any notice and terminate any booking without being liable for any refund or compensation for the following reasons:
the booking has been paid through fraudulent means
the booking has been altered by anyone other than Garden Suite Hotel or Garden Suite Hotel’s authorized agent or has been tampered with or the Booking Confirmation has been defaced (in which case Garden Suite Hotel reserves the right to retain such booking documentation)
the person checking in is not or cannot prove that he/she is the person named in the Booking Confirmation
as permitted under the provisions of these Terms and Conditions.
CANCELLATION POLICY
*Covid-19 update
Garden Suite Hotel is allowing all bookings, even non-refundable ones, to be canceled; this is valid for stays through April 30, 2021, when canceling at least 24 hours before scheduled arrival
We offer two types of reservations, which are Flexible and Non-Refundable.
i) Flexible
Flexible reservation can be changed or cancelled at no charge up to 24 hours before your scheduled arrival.
Cancellation within 24 hours of your arrival or No-Show will result in 1 night penalty of each room under same reservation.
ii)Non-Refundable
We do not offer cancellation unless it is due to extreme condition, including Covid-19 diagnosis.
In order to receive complete or partial refund, you must provide us with proof that you are not able to stay during the date under reservation.
Regarding the new legal requirements of CANCELLAITON (SB 644) in the State of California that will take effect on July 1, 2024:
This bill would require a hotel, third-party booking service, hosting platform, or short-term rental, as defined, to allow a reservation for a hotel accommodation or a short-term rental located in California to be canceled without penalty for at least 24 hours after the RESERVATION IS CONFIRMED if the reservation is made 72 hours or more before the time of check-in. This bill would require, if a consumer cancels a reservation pursuant to that provision, the hotel, third-party booking service, hosting platform, or short-term rental to issue a refund to a consumer for all amounts paid to the hosting platform, hotel, third-party booking service, or short-term rental to the original form of payment within 30 days of the cancellation of the reservation.
REFUND
For Cancellations, read Cancellation Policy above.
During your stay, we will strive to accommodate you and fulfill your request within reasonable limits. If we are not able to fulfill what was advertised or agreed, we will offer either complete or partial refund.
i) Direct reservation (Hotel website, phone, walk-in)
In case that we approve your refund, you can expect your funds back to your account no longer than 2 weeks.
ii) OTA reservation
As our hotel is under a contact with each individual OTAs, we cannot process refund directly. Please consult the OTA support team for additional steps.
WEBSITE INFORMATION
While all reasonable efforts have been taken to ensure the accuracy of information on the Websites, the Company does not accept responsibility for errors or omissions and reserve the right to amend, cancel or vary any of the arrangements featured on the Websites without notice.
The content of the Websites is the copyright of the Company, and may not be copied, reproduced, published, distributed or amended for any other purpose without our prior written consent.
The Websites are operated by the Company.

In order to make guest experience accessible and secure, we contract third party companies to fulfill certain services.

Adyen - payment processing
Roomcloud - channel manager
Online travel agencies (OTA) - Agoda, Booking.com, Expedia, HotelTonight, etc.
RIGHT TO AMEND GENERAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS
Garden Suite Hotel reserves the right to cancel, amend or vary the arrangements and content featured on the site and/or change, amend, vary or add to these Terms and Conditions at any time without prior notice.
All terms and conditions above are governed under US and local laws.
