In these Policies & Procedures rules, we will refer to Garden Suites Hotel and Resort.
We will use the personal information you provide us in connection with your stay, in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
Hotel guests are permitted to bring visitors with them to the property, although please be aware that during very busy times we may have to restrict guest access to certain areas of hotel at our discretion. For the avoidance of doubt, the guests must follow the on-site guest policy. The visitors may not enter the GSH without a hotel guest being present. The guests are responsible for ensuring their visitors follow all Hotel rules and policies, and can be asked to leave the GSH if their visitors violate such rules or policies or affect our hotel’s public safety. The guests should not congregate in groups of more than 6 within the hotel unless such group is associated with a pre-booked event or staying at GSH.
No visitors allowed after 10:00PM except registered at the front desk. Visitors must notify Front Desk or Security upon their arrival. Visitors must be accompanied by the registered hotel guest at all times. Visitors are not allowed to use the guest amenities including extra towels or shower. As a hotel guest, you are responsible for your visitors at all times.
Guests and patrons must not disturb or solicit others in GSH with whom they are not personally acquainted.
GSH does not allow domesticated dogs, cats or any other types of animals in our hotel premises. However, the ADA compliant service animals of disability or the emotional service animals with the certification/ID is allowed (*Emotional support animals are allowed with a fee).
At check-in, the guest must register the ADA compliant Service Dog by providing a required signature on hotel’s agreement. The guest is responsible to strictly abide by all policies listed on Garden Suite Hotel. Registered animals must NEVER be left unattended in the room at any time, whether or not the dog is in a kennel or crate. Guests are solely responsible for any damages and/or cleaning costs caused by their animals.
If any kinds of animals are found without our recognition/without registration, a penalty fee ($200) will be charged to the guest.
Any audio and video, including, but not limited to, movies, videos, songs, music, internet calls, presentations and all other audio must only be played through headphones and should not be audible to any other guest present. Internet calls must only take place in designated areas. Music, television, and all other entertainment enjoyed in guest rooms should not be audible outside of the room. All music at GSH will be volume controlled by our hotel.
No guest or patron shall purchase, use, ingest, possess, sell or otherwise distribute illegal drugs or other substances, or attempt to do any of the same. No guest or patron shall ask any hotel staff for illegal drugs or other substances while on our hotel premises, or in the immediate vicinity thereof. If any of the actions above prove true, the relevant the guest or patron will be removed from GSH.
No guest or patron shall purchase, sell, use or possess any object which is dangerous, illegal or offensive while on our hotel premises or in the immediate vicinity thereof, including, but not limited to, firearms and weapons. If any such objects are found, the item will be confiscated, the relevant the guest or patron will be removed from Garden Suites Hotel and, depending on the circumstances, we may have to call the police or relevant authorities.
Anyone entering the GSH premises is obligated to abide by our hotel’s smoking policy, and to all applicable no-smoking governmental laws, rules and regulations. No smoking (including, but not limited to, e-cigarettes and vapes) is allowed inside GSH at any time or within twenty (20) feet of any entrance(s). Our hotel reserves the right to prohibit or limit smoking in any area of GSH at any time at its sole and absolute discretion. Any violation of this policy is subject to a smoking fee and/or removal from Garden Suites Hotel.
Our hotel reserves the right to designate certain outside areas of GSH as smoking areas and to change the location of such areas at any time. However, all guests are requested to respect the wishes of other guests with respect to smoking, and to refrain from smoking when requested to do so.
Any items that cause a strong smell, including but not limited to, candles, incense, essential oils (including diffusers and vaporizers) or any other items or fragrances are strictly prohibited. These items and activities will be treated as smoking and the guest may be evicted with no refunds.
The safety of our guests, staff, and this facility is extremely important to us. Except for the microwave or refrigerator units that the hotel provides, preparation of food in guest rooms by any type of cooking appliances is prohibited. A minimum fee of $300.00 will be charged for cooking in a room, including, but not limited to coffee makers, hot plates, toaster ovens, water heaters, rice cookers, combustible, open flame, barbecue grill, burners, heating appliance, or any other item intended for cooking. Open fires, flames or cooking grills, either charcoal or gas, and fireworks are not allowed anywhere on hotel property.
Guests and patrons may not bring any outside food or beverages to any of the private event spaces within the hotel, unless medically/religiously necessary and/or with GSH’s prior approval. Fees may apply in connection any of the above exceptions.
We want all our guests to relax and enjoy the activities and facilities available at our hotel. Our hotel guests agree to observe the rules and any signs published or displayed at our hotel at any time; to only use all facilities, including but not limited to, the parking and the lobby during the posted hours of operation; and to take reasonable precautions when traveling around the grounds or using the facilities at Garden Suites Hotel.
If a guest has an accident or suffers any injury at GSH, please report this as soon as possible to a member of staff and, in any event, within 24 hours of the incident.
All items brought into Garden Suites Hotel are brought and left entirely at the risk of a hotel guest or patron. GSH, its servants and/or agents shall not be liable to any guest for any loss,
damage or injury suffered by them or their property howsoever caused, save in respect of death or personal injury to a guest to the extent caused by the negligence of the hotel, its servants and/or agents. This is not intended to affect any mandatory rights a guest may have under local law that we cannot legally restrict or exclude.
Guests and patrons should treat all others, including, but not limited to other guests and our hotel staff with respect. Profanity should not be directed at hotel staff and should not be spoken so as to be heard by other guests. Guests and patrons may not abuse any of our hotel’s employees or other guests, verbally or otherwise. Violation of this rule may result in removal from our hotel or other disciplinary action determined by Garden Suites Hotel.
All service employees of GSH are under the supervision of the General Manager and no guest or patron shall reprimand or discipline any employee, nor shall a guest or patron request an employee or other guest to leave our hotel for any reason.
Any employee not rendering courteous and prompt service should be reported to the management of GSH immediately. Guests and patrons may not make any physical contact with any hotel employees.
Garden Suites Hotel is privately owned and operated. We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone for any reason(s) that does not violate Federal or State laws. GSH has a zero-tolerance policy in which we will refuse to admit or refuse service or accommodation in our hotel or may remove a person, without refund, who refuses to abide by the reasonable standards and policies established by the State of California and the owners for the operation and management of the hotel. GSH will refuse service or evict a guest: for refusal or failure to pay for accommodations, is under the influence of alcohol, drugs, or any other intoxicating substance and acts in a disorderly fashion as to disturb the peace of other guests or is not in compliance with state liquor laws; acts in a disorderly fashion as to disturb the peace of other guests; is unable to properly supervise their children at all times, seeks to use the hotel for an unlawful purpose; seeks to bring into the hotel: an unlawfully possessed firearm; or something, including an explosive or hazardous or toxic substance, that is unlawful to possess and that may be dangerous to other persons; destroys, damages, defaces, or threatens harm to hotel property or guests; causes or permits persons to exceed the maximum allowable occupancy of room, refuses to abide by the reasonable standards or policies established by GSH for the operation and management of our hotel.
